In his attempt to demonstrate the social and cultural significance of the cassava or ‘ubi kayu’, he has cybernetically anthropomorphize the plant into an entity that is capable of ‘curating its own memories and history, autonomously’.

‘Operasi Cassava’ is an exhibition project that examines the cultural identity through a symbolic plant – the ‘Ubi Kayu’. Most importantly, the exhibition successfully achieves a metaphor that demonstrates the perception of the cultural and temporal dimension of cultural identity vis-à-vis organic matter.
